EN SAVOIR +

Pas d'autres informations sur le sujet

The Promenade du Paillon in Nice has been extended beyond the Mamac to the Palais des Expositions. This huge park in the heart of Nice now covers 20 hectares and stretches for almost 2 km, if you include the adjoining Albert 1er garden. Here we present the extension of the Promenade du Paillon, (described previously).

A diverse Promenade du Paillon for all tastes

Children's games, water jets, giant bamboo, cacti, urban forest, cloister, vegetable garden... visitors will find themselves constantly turning their heads in all directions. What's more, the views are eye-catching. The reflections, colors, and shadows vary depending on the time of day. In short, this green corridor is a very pleasant way to recharge your batteries... and learn something new. Indeed, many exotic plant species are listed, especially in the old part of the Promenade du Paillon. And here, around the Mamac, there are contemporary artworks on display.

Artistic works on the Promenade du Paillon

In this green corridor around the Mamac, you can discover contemporary artworks that everyone can admire freely.

Pictured here: Loch Ness Monster, by Niki de Saint Phalle. Chat Moloch, by Théo Tobiasse. Ligne indéterminée, by Bernar Venet. Music Power, by Arman.

Architecture that enhances this green corridor

In this green corridor, you can also admire the stunning architecture of the famous Tête carrée, or the inner courtyard of the Mamac.
