Benoît Barbagli

Benoît Barbagli (1988-) is the grandson of Ben and Annie Vautier. He trained as an artist at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Nice. His artistic practice is multidisciplinary, combining photography, performance, sculpture and installations. Added to this is his use of digital technology.
He questions the relationship between humans and nature, particularly water, the original element where social and gender distinctions are erased.
He exhibits in a number of prestigious galleries, including the Galerie Eva Vautier in Nice.
