Christmas 2025 in Nice is rich in light and emotion. With illuminations, shows, concerts, and a Christmas market, the city of Nice becomes Santa Claus's home for young and old alike. What's more, the vast majority of events, almost all of them, are free of charge.

The Christmas market is located in the Albert 1er garden and on Place Masséna * See practical information.From November 28, 2025 (starting at 7 p.m. on the first day) until January 4, 2026, this large Christmas market features around sixty chalets and numerous attractions, which we detail below. Admission is free.
There are many other activities for younger visitors, including the usual and always popular traditional carousel.

200 artists will parade down Avenue Jean Médecin to Place Masséna on Sunday, December 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.Organized by Nice Shopping, you can admire dancers, musicians, street performers, and three carnival floats. This parade aims to refocus Christmas shopping on local businesses.
